Our client, a national Charity requires a strong Financial Accounting Manager for their London head office to develop and manage the Financial Accounting, section of the Finance Department.
The Financial Accounting Manager duties include:
To provide financial support across all divisions
To control the production of monthly management accounts package and other regular financial reports
To work with the Corporate Accountant on the completion of the annual financial statements
To maintain credit rating through efficient processing of supplier invoices and maintenance of the purchase ledger
To Manage Sales Ledger invoicing and credit control
To Manage the General Ledger and its controls
To be responsible for short / medium term cash management
To assist the Corporate Accountant to develop and maintain systems and processes for Finance
To be a driver in improving the future efficiency and effectiveness of the organisation
To ensure compliance with all statutory obligations relating to the Companies Act
To be client focused, proactive and flexible in responding to the needs of clients' internal/external to the organisation

To continuously review, develop and implement robust financial reporting solutions that meet the changing needs of all our users

Promote high levels of service and monitor service levels and to ensure customer satisfaction by using and managing resources in a proactive and effective manner
The ideal Financial Accounting Manager will:
Have post qualification experience
Have experience of managing financial staff
Have experience in preparation of internal and statutory financial statements
Have experience using accounting software packages
Have strong Excel skills
