Senior Management Accountant - £45,000 + Bonus
Our Client, a successful property development organisation, requires a Senior Management Accountant to work closely with the Financial Controller, Project Accountant and Systems Accountant.
The ideal Senior Management Accountant will be responsible for the Management Accountant.
The Duties:
Working to strict deadlines
Production of monthly Management Accountants and Board Papers
Production of monthly forecasts including a 5 year plan
Production of Regional Board statistics
Preparation of annual Budget
Production of half year and full year consolidation packs for Group
Production of overhead forecasts and Budgets
Production of monthly VAT return
Liaising with Systems Accountant to ensure that Management Accounts, forecasts and Budgets are input correctly onto Group systems
Analysis of Overhead expenditure to forecast and Budget
Analysis of Sales expenditure to forecast and Budget
Production of monthly Balance Sheet, including journals required
Control of Work in Progress expenditure and analysis, including journals required
Liaising with Surveyors to produce valuations
Raising invoices and ensuring timely collection of debtors
Production of Regional and Group returns
Ensuring smooth running of the Finance department in the absence of the Financial Controller
The Senior Management Accountant will:
Be Qualified of Part Qualified CIMA / ACCA
Have good experience of MS Excel and Word
Have good communication skills
Have the ability to manage staff at all levels
Work under pressure to strict deadlines
