Group Financial Accountant - £50,000 plus 10% Bonus
Our Client, a leading Consultancy firm is looking for an experienced Financial Accountant to assist in the production of financial information for the organization.

The Financial Accountant's key responsibilities are:
Assisting in the preparation of the annual and interim report and accounts and associated filings
Assist in the preparation of the Group Consolidated financial information ona monthly basis for presentation to the Board
Assist with the management relationships with external bodies such as Company Auditors, the Bank, and the Board to ensure a clean audit report is obtained & in general act as an interface with business partners
Review and challenge of monthly subsidiary reporting
Management of key Balance Sheet accounts for the Group, providing regular reconciliation and reports to relevant personnel
Provision of some expert advice, support and guidance to Operating Divisions on technical aspect & specialist niche areas of overall responsibility (e.g.VAT, Taxation, Legal structure) both within and outside the UK operation
Ensuring subsidiary financial statements are prepared and filed within deadlines
Preparation of Statutory Returns to various external bodies, including HMCE, Inland Revenue, HMSO
Management of Group all treasury activities, ensuring that the best return on surplus cash is earned and least cost paid for overdrafts & loans
Act as Financial Controller for a number of Group departments
Providing management information to the relevant managers
Develop relationships with internal & external customers by working in partnership with key players to enhance visibility and contribute to the whole business
Undertake ad-hoc project as required by business need
The Financial Accountant will:
