Project Architect, KSA - Jeddah
Our client, a well respected Real Estate developer, requires an experienced architect to provide architectural support for all of their proposed and existing projects. My client is involved in the purchasing and development of prime real estate and their projects include mixed use luxury commercial and residential developments. You will be highly competent, with post qualification experience and a strong track record of working to extremely high standards.
The Project Architect's main duties:
To carry out all aspects of building concept design within the Engineering Projects Department Team, and to co-ordinate, monitor and supervise external consultants
Ensure effective communication and coordination on assigned projects between all disciplines and parties
Perform project assignments independently with instruction and guidance as to the general results expected, from the Department Director, and Project Manager
Provide professional building design services to new projects
Coordinate detailed design and drafting of shop drawings
Evaluate consultancy services tenders
Support the Project Manager in his role as liaison between the various professionals on projects, and in dealing with external consultants
Coordinate the detailed design brief preparation and design programme production in conjunction with the Project Manager, Building Services Engineers, Project Planner, Quantity Surveyor, and external consultants
Develop and maintaining a CAD data base
Support the Project Management Team in commissioning Architectural building components
The Project Architect:
Qualified Architect, with post qualification experience
Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software required
Membership of a recognized professional architectural organization
Strong communication skills
