Senior Quantity Surveyor & Estimator, KSA - Jeddah
Our client, a well respected Real Estate developer, requires an experienced architect to provide architectural support for all of their proposed and existing projects. My client is involved in the purchasing and development of prime real estate and their projects include mixed use luxury commercial and residential developments. You will be highly competent, with a strong track record of working to extremely high standards within the Middle East, preferably within KSA.
The Senior Quantity Surveyor's main duties:
Preparation of various cost estimates at the various stages of the project
Budget plans all for the construction and pre construction process
Preparation of tenders and cost plan budgets
Assessing all documentation necessary for the development of the projects
Compiling and analyzing data that influence cost estimates
Coordinate closely with accounts to assure efficient cash-flow
Monitor and control the application of funds available for the project cash flow, cost analysis, variation orders, payments and other major financial factors
Review and process consultants' payment requests
Review Contractors' payment applications during construction stage
Directly responsible for the development and implementation of cost control programs
Prepare Budget forecast reports and cash flow reports as required for the project
Prepare financial reports based on information received
Evaluate contractors' entitlement of payment for works completed
Assess value of contractor's payment for materials
Assess payment for work executed against variation orders
Prepare payment certificate Support the Project Management Team in commissioning Architectural building components
The Senior Quantity Surveyor:
Strong post qualification experience
Computer literate with strong Excel
Middle East/Arabian Gulf/KSA experience is preferred, ideally currently based in Jeddah
Previously occupied the role of Senior QS with a reputable international main contractor
Member of Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) desirable (or equivalent)
Strong communication skills
