Architect - Jeddah

Accountability Recruitment's client is a highly reputed real estate developer and investment company, with a focus on the expanding Saudi Arabian market. Our client works only in highly prestigious locations, and ensure their work reflects the prestige of both the location and their ambitions in the finished project. They construct high-rise, luxury and multi-use buildings which encompass commercial, retail, residential and 5 Star Hotel space. As an Architect for our client, you will have the ability to display the full retinue of your skills, while playing a key part in the creation of prestigious projects.
The responsibilities of the Architect will include:
- Carrying out all aspects of building concept design within the Engineering Projects Department Team, co-ordinating, monitoring and supervising external consultants
- Performing project assignments in conjunction with the Department Director, and Project Manager
- Providing professional building design services to new projects
- Coordinating detailed design and drafting of shop drawings
- Evaluating consultancy services tenders
- Supporting the Project Manager in their role as liaison between the various professionals on projects, and in dealing with external consultants
- Coordinating the detailed design brief preparation and design programme production in conjunction with the Project Manager, Building Services Engineers, Project Planner, Quantity Surveyor, and external consultants
The ideal Architect will be:
- University Degree educated or equivalent
- Fluent in spoken and written Arabic and English
- Experienced in working in a similar role
- Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
- A strong communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills
- Able to work well under pressure and to strict deadline
- Flexible with a professional attitude
